Mr. Zirbel has been in the teaching pro- fession for eighteen years: five years as acoach, nine years as a principal, and four years as a counselor. He has greatly enjoyed beingprincipal at Center North for two yearsg but, finding his work as a counselor most rewarding because he can work more closely with students, he has decided to go back into the counseling field. We are sorry to see Mr, Zirbel leave, but we are happy to know that he will be counseling in a nearby district. We wish him every success. v 5 4, if 'P' I , 1 IBFWAHY MID-CGNTINILNT PNUBUK 5 1 1 v w l RIMMwilllllmlgllltlnlgllll MID-f0NIlNl'N1 mem LIHIIAIV GP Ds, 5, Ural Hismfv Blind' 317 w HMYWY 24 G E mdependE,,LcvNv1,b4050 Dedication . W' rr I ,wwf The Success of Center North Depends on You Dear Students: A large part of whether or not Center North is a real success depends on the students. Each of you has a challenge before you, one thatlfeel you are capable of accepting. The experiences you have this year, whether it be in the classroom, in the field of athletics, or in other extracurricular activities, will determine the SUCCESS of Center North Junior High School. If you will strive to do your best in all of your experiences, then we can be assured that Center North will be a success. Sincerely, fffwf Mr, Larry Zirbel Principal Dear Students: With regard to what is necessary for the SUCCESS of Center North, l can only say that the same things are needed for all schools. These things are students, a building, a program, mate- rials, and teachers. You and I both know that the thing that really makes a school succeed is the effort of the students, teachers, and staff. Some people call this spirit. This sounds so simple that I doubt if many kids will believe it. Shall we try?
