An attempt was made to make both parents and students aware that activities missed in class could not be made up. Participation in oral discus- sions, filmstrips and in-class projects was essential to understanding the points being presented. The essence of the subject matter could not be ac- quired from someone else's notes. The school felt a responsibility to teach punctuality and regularity, items which are so important in everyday life, said Mr. Gene Banaka, principal.
