On the list of objectives for the Board this year was a re-evaluation of goals and philosophy at the beginning of the school year. A philosophy and goals committee composed of teachers, parents and students was formed. The purpose is to establish if educational standards of Center School District are being met, stated Mr. Don Richmond, Superinten- dent of Schools. While the Board was kept busy with this, the administration carried out the second part of its objectives. District wide committees worked on coordina- tion of curriculum from kindergarten through high school in order to elimi- nate overlap in subjects taught. All departments within the schools and all teachers are cooperating, we have eliminated weaknesses and strengthened the fundamentals of teaching, said Mr. Richmond. of Art Education' Mrs. Sharon Patterson Su- pervisor of Food Services.
