REemphasizing spirit Center students involved themselves in a variety of activities during activity period. “With so much to do, I often had to decide between several things.” (Mark Corrigan—12) Moved to early morning on Wednesday and Thursday, activity period lasted 55 minutes after first hour. Activity period was good, but sometimes the 90 minute classes were just too long.” (Debbie Davis—I 1) New clubs and mini-courses were formed for students with special interests. Unless you had something specific to do, activity period, was a waste of time.” (Jeff Brown—12) Controversy arose as to whether activity period should be continued, but most students agreed that activity period was a welcome change of pace in the school day.
