I, Harold Stonebraker, will my heighth and ways to anyone who has the ability to put up CLASS PROPHECY Hello there, I don't expect you to remember me so I'll introduce myself. I'm the Spirit of 52. I decided to return and see how my proteges are getting along. It's been ten years since I saw the little DEARS. I'm sitting on a cloud watching the world go -by. There is Jerry Cook. He is in the mousetrap business and doing quite well at it too. He has everyone coming to his door, for he has the most unique trap ever invented. Over there on U. S. 40 I see Dick Conwell. He is traveling from the Atlantic to the Pacific coast. He drives a Conwell Special, his self-designed semi. If you were to look toward the West Coast, you would see Phyllis Lewelleng she lives in San Francisco. Phyllis married a millionaire playboy and has scads of money. Who is her guest today? Phyllis always has famous people to tea. It is Ruth Evansg Ruth is the best sport- scaster in the 48 states. She hasher own stationg the call letters are C. H. S. Isn't that a coin- cidence? I know it isn't nice to eavesdrop, but these hen parties always were good listening. Whom are they talking about now? Tom Wilhelm, well it seems Tom is a star singer. He is singing at New York's most famous nightclub, the Platinum Cow Bell. Jim Bainter is the ownerg those two are going places. John Edwin Johnson is an instructor in the Mechanical EngineeringSchoolof Kansas. He has students from all 48 states, Hawaii, Cuba, and 3 from South America. John says he is very proud of his excellent students. Say, look over there is the Himalayas. I think I see Norman Daughertyg I do. Norman is a champion skier and with his wife moves in the elite circles of Europe. Rex Terrell has been successful in business. He manufactures clothespins that taste goodg the green like lime, the red like strawberry and various other colors and flavors. Gordon Smith is an explorerg right now he is exploring the North Pole. His nurse is Lois Hamilton, who inherited a large fortune from someone, I forget whom, but she has to go to the North Pole before she can receive the money. Janet Keeling is in Paris, France, with the U. S. Army. Janet joined the Wacs a few years after graduating from Center. She has been made a General. Betty Sue Rodeffer is in Egyptg she's an archeologist and has just dicovered some king's grave. Is she Famous? Little girls all over the world want to grow up and be just like Betty Sue. Jewel Burelison is a newspaper reporter in Germany. She writes sob storiesg people cry when they read Jewel's stories. Oscar Reed is amagician in London. He performs for the King and Queen every Wednesday evening. Bill Drumm is in Italy nowg he is a private detective. I see him looking for a talking parrot which can tell him who stole our ambassador's car. He is a much sought after detective--he usually gets his man. Harold Stonebraker is in Lima, Peru, building railroads. Harold is famous all over the world for having built the largest bridge. Jeanette Harris is a doctor and she manages a hospital in South America. Her hobby is collecting rare butterflies and her collection is the finest in the world. Sue Kirklin is married and is living in splendor and fame as a short story writer. Julia Thornburg is on Wall Street. She deals in stocks and bonds. If you want to invest some money see Julia. Phyllis Wilson now lives in Indianapolis with her husband., Phyllis has recently been voted Mrs. Home-maker of l962. Well, Father Time is calling me, so I must go. l've enjoyed my look see. I'm very proud of this class of mine. I'll be back at the end of the next decade, so until l do, take care of your- selves. So long. with them.
