The key to accuracy and speed in commercial courses, according to Mrs. Fulmer, Mrs. Howard, Mr. Lydick, and Mr. Sloop, is continuous practice. Other business courses include general busi- ness, business arithmetic, bookkeeping, and secre- tarial office practice. Pupils enrolled in secretarial office praclice, which includes advanced typing, act as secretaries to faculty members. Learning to oper- ate office machines is also a part of this advanced course.
