The Worm Shall Sauirm cast receives a welll deserved round of applause- The Worm Shall Squirm a three-act comedy, was presented by the senior class in the auditorium on November 29 and December 'l. Mrs. Margaret Callahan, Dramatics Club spon- sor, directed the play which was based on the difficulties two teenage boys get into when they are given the job of co-principals in their high school. Main characters were Mr. Dunhagen, the prin- cipal, portrayed by David Baugh, Mrs. Bertha Dunhagen, his wife, Judy Blackford, Leroy Dunhagen, lT'S MY PLEASURE . . . Ann Templeton greets David Bough as Gloria Espinoza swings her beads in disgust. one of the co-principals, Gene Browning, Buzzy, the other co-principal, John Shanks, Rosemary Dunhagen, Mr. Dunhagen's daughter, who was competing for Homecoming Queen, Sandy Adams, and Phyllis Dunhagen, another daughter, Rose Gordon. Other members of the cast were Gloria Bales, Ann Templeton, Gloria Espinoza, Mike Worrell, Pam Bunch, Darrell Eaglen, Steve Weddle, Larry Voiles, and Phil Power. For the first time parents were actually able to take their child's place in the classroom. ln the 12-minute classes teachers explained what the course consisted of and what was expected of the students. In the rush of going from class to class the be- REFRESHMENTS ARE SERVED . . . Class officers, Marsha Rike and Mary Jane Roembke, serve refreshments to parents during Back-to-School Night. wildered parents had difficulty in finding the right rooms.
