PROPHECY Nancy Jo Puckett is still trying to decide what she can do to further her education, meanwhile she is still working at Ayres. Carl Carpenter and I erry Gilespie have a strip of California coastline. They intend to erect a large Motion Picture Drive-In for motor boat enthusiasts. Lee McGinnis is a wild animal trainer, jet pilot, and big game hunter. For excitement he shoots marbles. Gary Payne has become a success in Hollywood. Famous movie stars patronize his parking lot. Marvin Baker now owns the New York Yankees. After they lost the World Series twice in as many years he bought them and changed things ------- They lost the pennant. Carol Harrell, who is the father of ten boys and owner of a 700-acre farm, spends most of his time looking for something to do. Bruce Hammersley is touring Russia as good will ambassador. While there he hopes to find the future Mrs. Hammersley. Beverly Plummer now owns the Southern Circle, much against the wishes of her parents. Among her top curb girls are Swivel Hips and Sue Barks. Betty McClain another member of the class is a great writer. She writes daily in the News under the name of Molly McClain. Norma Scherer is taking Mrs. Fu1mer's place at Center Grove this year. Mrs. Fulmer retired and is now spending her winters in Florida. Frances Browning, who was voted most likely to in high school---has! Frances in the star of a new television show that is headed for the top--- Your Child and Vitamins. Don Bennett is a state police detective. He believes that if you can't beat 'em. join 'em. Danny Saunders is head scientist in charge of finding a synthetic hormone which will induce growth. He was hired by multi-mullionaire Bob Matillo, who still wants to be a big man. The famous Tag-team women's wrestlers Dempsey and Dowdenhave won the Women's Wrestling Cahmpion- ship Trophy. Good work Linda .T ane and Carolyn. Tom Smith, who started as a bouncer and Larry Roberts, a former bartender, now own several night clubs. They say their success is due to hard work, perseverance, and friends in the underworld. Ron Haywood is chief astronomer on the new satellite space station. His calculationsare certainly out of this world. Kenny Woodall has started on his third million ---- ---- h e gave up on the first two. .T . C. Robards is now owner of his own electrical appliance company. He has many new shocking experiences daily. Sandy Bennett, after a year of Mr. Ha1l's teachings has become a Communist. And, David Schroeder, after helping compile these facts, will go back to his cave to enjoy the simpler things of life, away from the nervous inhabitants of this frantic world. 23

AW w':,,vw,g,,W ,,- , . . If CLASS Ten years have passed since the class of '58 shed their caps and gowns. A few members are working for a living, but most are just living. Ron Utterback, after 8 years in the Marines, is now proprietor of The Back Room, Bargersvi11e's best and only twenty table pool room. Dave Zurschmeide, whenever not attending to his twenty patients, is one of the boys in the back room. Bonnie Michalek is Dr. Zurschmeide's assistant. Bonnie has seven more degrees than the doctor. Being the owner, founder, and president of the Sleep-a-While Mattress Company, .Terry Stewart spends in- numerable hours testing his product. Four girls from the class are now married, they are---Mary Ellen McTarsney, Sue Aldrich, Rosemary Perkins and Beverly Smith. Sue and Rosemary came out a little better than Beverly and Mary Ellen who are working at the Root Beer Stand to support their husbands. .Toe Parker's speed and custom shop is the center of attraction for hot rodders. They learn immeasurably from his accounts on past experiences. Sandy Beckham now owns the only all women cab company. She drives one of her two cabs---her green Chevy. Faye Beasley is her other driver. Faye is an excellent driver, although she has not yet acquired a driver's license. Phil Tinkle spends most of his time playing for a professional basketball team whose home base is Tim- buctu. Marcia Brazee is still a Big Wheel at Block's. She has recently been promoted to head of her depart- ment. She does a good job but insists on wearing rubber gloves when mopping. Bob Van Dyke is currently starring in the TV western, Have Gun, Might Shoot, as the henpecked sheriff of Gopher Junction. Myron Hedger has made good in the television world also, she has recently been voted Miss Rock and Roll. Nancy Beck plays guitar for her. Rita Parish sings with them. Mary Ogle is still engaged, but she works every night and just can't find time to get married. Lois Ann Weaver is now private secretary to Mr. Jack Bedan, who is still teaching at C.G. Tom Hoffman is a playboy is southern California. He became wealthy by manufacturing cracker jacks. Pat Nation, Mary Jane Wray, and Pat Taylor are now retired since their book How to Get Along With Girls has sold 10,000,000 copies. Russell Dowden has, for the last three years, been the top Midwest Sprint Car driver. l-le's been doing a fine job since they made him a transmission without a reverse. Ruel West is professor of English at a large eastern university. He is also the author of the English text- books used in most of the nation's schools. Rose Shortt is now head of the Bakery Department at the Marsh Food Liner. She earned her position by selling 100,000,000 cream puffs in a week. 22

I, Linda Dowden, will my ability to drive a green Ford to school to anyone who has a sister to make the payments. I, Russell Dowden, will my ability to talk in Miss Feeler's study hall to Phil Usrey. I, .Terry Gillespie, will my locker to any fellow sardinelllll I, Bruce Hammersly, will my ability to get to school just one minute before the bell rings and to get to class on time to Tommy I ack. I, Betty McClain, will my quiet ways to anyone with a loud mouth. I, Lee McGinnis, will my ability to take a lot of teasing from the students to Bob Underwood. I, Mary Ellen McTarsney, will my ability to yell and have fun at ball games to Sue C. Austin. I, Bob Matillo, will my PITUITARY GLAND to Fred Weaver. l, Bonnie Michalek, will my place on the bus to Celine Berry for the next six years. l, Pat Nation, will my ability to argue with Mr. Hall in Government class and still make passing grades to anyone who can get away with it. I, Mary Ogle, will my ability to get along with EVERYONE to anyone who has as good a personality as I do. I, Rita Parish, will my ability to be called Blondie by Paul Daily to any girl SO lucky.
