Interserve is an honorary service organiza- tion composed of twenty-five senior girls chosen by the faculty on the basis of out- standing leadership, responsibility, depend- ability, respectability, and loyalty to Centen- nial High School. The primary goal of Inter- serve is to provide service to the school and the community. This goal is achieved through such activities as the Senior Advisor Program, Freshman Dance, Chili Supper, and the Dance-a-Thon to benefit the Special Olympics. Interact Interact, sponsored by Rotary Interna- tional, is a honorary service organization composed of twenty-four seniors who are elected by the teachers on the basis of honor, hard work, and a good sense of humor. Interact is a co-sponsor of the Freshman Dance, Chili Supper, and the Spring Dance- a-Thon. Other projects sponsored by Inter- act include participation in the World Affairs Seminar, Project Oxfam, and care of the courtyard. Mr. Jenkins is the sponsor. German Honor Society is a group of students here at Centennial who enjoy participating in Ger- man-related activities and learning more about German life. This year’s activities included going to see a German opera, an Inter-Honor Society Vol- leyball Tournament, and several fundraisers to pro- mote all of these activities. 96
