The 1985 Varsity Baseball team finished the season with a near .500 with a record of 11-12. They had a team batting average of .313. Seniors Toby Herges and Kevin Kasper re- ceived All-Conference awards. Seniors Joel Ehlers and John Lindgrcn and junior Todd Yaxley received Honorable Mention With the Sophomore baseball team having an outstanding re- cord of 10-3 the team is bound to excel. GIRLS’ SOFTBALL The 1985 Charger Softball team continued their improving abilities, finishing with a respectable 6-14 record. Senior Lisa Alexander and Junior Marcy Levy won All-Conference honors, while juniors Faline McConkie and Staci Shaw earned Honor- able Mention. With many returning lettermen, having varsity experience, the Chargers can look forward to a winning season.
