COURTYARD COMMITTEE Prior to 1971 the courtyard was a bare, flat, unused block area; the final three weeks of that school year environmental students, and others who were interested built the fountain, poured cement, planted trees, shrubs and flowers, and laid sod just in time for graduation. Since then students have done all the upkeep of their courtyard. In recent years it has gotten a little run down from a combination of weather and abuse by overuse and trampling. The Class of 1980 gave some money last year and the Committee is using it this year to do some renovation. The students pictured here have worked hard to make it a nice place to visit and eat lunches. Bottom to Top, L. to R. — Row 1: Kris [essop. Jim Eisenkoff, Kris Arvola. Row 2: Mr. Casteel (sponsor).
