NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY National Honor Society is composed of members who have demonstrated high achievement in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. The Centennial chapter is very active. It sponsors the Homecoming Bonfire, takes part in Spectrum and helps in tutoring fellow students. SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY Spanish Honor Society membership is based on academic excellence in Spanish. Once initiated a student remains a member as long as he or she is enrolled in Spanish. They went Christmas carolling with the French and German Honor Societies and competed against both in volleyball. German Honor Society consists of students who have fulfilled the eligibility requirements. They have taken a cultural field trip to Chicago (the German Counsolate and Goethe House). They also participated in the annual Christmas carolling party with French and Spanish Honor Societies. They have published a student newspaper in German. In the spring they played in the annual volleyball games with Spanish and French Honor Societies and also participated in cultural activities during national Foreign Language Week. Bottom to Top.
