SPRING ACTIVITIES ffm' Hamas the uni As the aroma of Spring crept into Centen mal, With it snuck in that inevitable urge to be outdoors Heliaca held a successful trik a thon around the track and Concert Choir enthusiasts began hitting the ball on the courts Whether for team practice or just for pleas ure Increasing numbers of students began to pedal their bikes to school on the nice days While others chose not to show at all Spring fever swept over students and faculty bringing excitement and anxiety throughout that last remaining quarter of school actively engaged in a plank race. Tennis 4 1. Mr. Moran gives Mr. Blazier practice as the Skip Man, filling him in one some of the oldies but goodies. 2. However, they both chuckle recalling their own high school days. 3. Darla DeMarco and Donna Portin seriously fight over rights to 10 speed. 4. Spring fever takes Sue A. White, janet Estes, Cathy Monroe and Mary Frinell downtown just to break the routine school day.

YI SPRING PLAY gllff Hausa 51410115 Jlfluszc Rodgers and Hammerstein s SOUND MUSIC was certainly one of Centennial s Favorite Things as audiences packed the house each of the three nights it played some coming two and three times to see the smash Broadway Musical and Academy Award winning motion picture Come Backstage girls switched from short skirts to holy habits and quick changes were the order of the evening as seven children and their governess would run off stage and reuirn seconds later in complete changes of costume Stage crew had no time to rest as wagon sets were pushed into place and furniture and props were pushed on and off as the lights changed and the orchestra played The students involved, cried when it was over amid standing ovations, bouquets of roses, and hugs and kisses from family and friends just ask any of the cast and they will say, Lets do it again!
