VARSITY BASEBALL: Dzsappvzufmeuf plagues Calm The varsity baseball team fought every- thing from the Weather, to the scrapping of victories towards the end of the season, to make their Win loss record respectable. Led by Coach Daggett, the team made a last chance rally in the last 3rd of the season. In the beginning of the year hopes Were high and division titles rang in the back of the player's minds. With the playing of the first ten games those hopes all but disap- peared, as the diamond men dropped their first 10 contests. Hopes of a comeback came with their first win, a 1 to 0 shutout over last year's state AAA Champion Lakenridge. Dickerson pitched the win and also managed the only hit for the Eagles.
