V. hoopers proved to be one of the strongest teams in the league. They were definitely the team to beat in the last half of the season. The team jelled into a very sound ballclub, thanks to the unity and the hard work that the team put forth. jim Thompson led the scoring pa- rade, scoring over 200 points. jim Vogelpohl was an inspiration to the team as well as a fine all-around player. Team captain Brent Dicker- son was the other top scorer and led the team in rebounds and assists. Dave Crawford did an excellent job 60 BASKETBALL in the other starting role. The Lakeridge game was the high- light of the season for the squad. Coach Gary Cramer did an excel- lentjob in getting the team together and up for big games. The team end- ed the season, winning eight out of their last nine games. Mark Potter took over as a prolific scorer, when Mike Caba and lim Renwick were moved to the l.V. team. The games they lost were by close scores. The team lacked height but they made up for it with their depth. Morris scored 195 points on the year.
