iv AND FROSHICROSS COUNTRY he I. V. team shows its strength placing second in district. The jayvee cross country team has usually been a weak link between two strong ones. This year was a pleasing exception as the junior Eagles went un- defeated in the Wilco League dual meet competition. Their strength was enhanced in the district meet with the addition of part- time varsity runners Steve Snelling and Frank Soots. Another fine jayvee runner was Mark Goin. He ran No.1 nearly all year long when Snelling and Soots were on varsity. With their one-two finish, Snelling and Goin led thej. V. 's to a secondplace finish in district.
