Frosh Power Prevails. The Class of '76 gave their first preview of high school spirit when they took second place over-all in Homecoming Activities. They proved their determination again when they secured a victorious first place in the Thanksgiving Food Drive, after collecting approximately two-thousand cans of food. ln addition, the Freshmen spon- sored such service projects as col- lecting fabric remnants for rest homes, highway and cemetery clean-up days, contributed to the sending of two seniors to Washing- ton D. C. and collected five-hundred dollars by trick-or-treating for UNICEF on Haloween. The Freshmen also devoted their energies to the moneymaking en- deavors of car washes, the sale of Valo-grams, Ghoul-grams, and two candy sales. They also held a Spa- ghetti Feed in the school cafeteria. The Spirit of '76 became class of the year-a real FIRST for A Fresh- man class.
