Mathematics: Aftermath Helps Studentsg Math Enrollment Soars. It seems as though more students were interested in taking Math than ever before. Perhaps it was because of the new teaching methods used by the teachers. In Basic Math, the students worked at their own rate with individual study packets. They were enthusiastic about finishing the course and ti gift mags t l , ,, ' Ei earning a credit. For those students that were having any difficulties in Math, there was help avail- able in the Math Labs several times a week. In two years the depart- ment expects to have de- veloped several Math courses that coincide with vocational interests.
