English: New Classes Added, Enhance Student Choices English was one ofthe most popular classes offered, not to mention it was required. Four out of twenty-nine classes offered in English cur- riculum were new. These new courses included Basic Writ- ing, Business and Industrial Writing, American Lit. I, and English Lit. ll. V The English Department was happy to add two new teachers, Mrs. Sue Schneibel and Mr. james Barnes. Three student teachers, Miss Marlene Calymon, Mrs. Linda Graham, and Mr. james Housen, taught and helped the English department. These student teachers came from different colleges to practice teaching, using the students of Centennial as guinea pigs. Centennial's English De- partment revised the elective courses and hopes to have the required program updated soon. , at 1 1, fi? , .: ,iw i ,ww K bill!
