CHS well represented at various choir contests and concerts. l Q wgxt tg . f ' . an ri .. 5 wp ' H ,Q ' l a -frm- ,.,. ., .. .W Martha Durkee, Becky Harper and Lori Settles sing in harmony with the other members of choir. 70 members comprised choir last year. Throughout a year made up o hard work, and day after day drudgery, the choir produced a beautiful sound appreciated by all who listened. They appeared at many festivals including the Gresham District Choral Festival, and thejester Harrison Festival tat the Civic Auditoriumj. They also went to the Lewis and Clark Invita- tional. 2 members of choir achieved membership in the All-Northwest Choir: Clint Livengood and LeAnn Kahler. 3 members were in the Music in May chorus held at Pacific Uni- versity in Forest Grove: LeAnn Kahler, Dawn Watson, and Cliff Sauer. The choir held their banquet May 23 at the Top of the Cosmo . Their last singing debut for CHS students was for graduation. Mr. Richard Muhle directed the talent group through quite a successful year. He made a year of work seem a year of fun. 112 Music L 6' -n Cheryl Rez , Sandy Shaw, Becky Horton, Dawn Watson, and Cheryl Roth get together while singing Choral Treasures. Melancholy moods seem to preside over jan jackovich, Sue Wolcott, and Lori Settles' faces they work on the art ofsinging.

l The students at Centennial High succeeded in completing another year of the best time of their lives. It was noticed that there were more original individuals than ever be- fore. No more did the frosh look to the seniors for ideas on how to talk, walk, or act. This was proven when freshmen walked off with Class of the Year. Each class helped make Cen- tennial the great school it is. Each student made their class the great class it is. One look at CHS and you can tell we've got it all together -At least most of the time. Friends gather at lunch time to exchanged ideas on how to get that certain guy to ask them out next weekend. 4 15 1 J ii 4 ff qw-fi?
