Skiers happily hit the slopes in spite of bad weather 84 poor snow. Cen ski lowered their membership fees and passed out free sweatshirts to early dues-payers during the pre- winter months last year in an effort to increase their numbers. Once on the slopes, however, no one felt the need for more people, and everyone agreed, lt gets more crowded every year. Cen ski sponsored money-making projects such as candy sales in order to collect enough money for their party at the end of the skiing season. All in all it was a successful year and casualties consisted of only one broken leg and one cut thumb. Sec. Diane Dweak, V. Pres. Leslie Burnes and Pres. Sodales brings joy to adopted grandmotherg deal in drama 84 love. Sodales is a social service club, which any girl can join. They have regular meetings to plan future events in- volving time and work. One of the major activities of So- dales last year was the adoption of a grandmother at the Village Con- valescent Home. They were also active putting on a puppet show at Pixie Playland, collecting food for Snow Cap and having a Progressive Dinner. They had a banquet as they do every year, which was held at the Quay. They also had fun in the sun at Kah-Nee-Ta. Sodales club officers were: presi- dent-Lori Thomas, secretary-Martha Durkee, and treasurer - Ruth Ann Schultz. The advisor for the year was Mrs. Owen.
