Skiers happily hit the slopes in spite of bad weather 84 poor snow. Cen ski lowered their membership fees and passed out free sweatshirts to early dues-payers during the pre- winter months last year in an effort to increase their numbers. Once on the slopes, however, no one felt the need for more people, and everyone agreed, lt gets more crowded every year. Cen ski sponsored money-making projects such as candy sales in order to collect enough money for their party at the end of the skiing season. All in all it was a successful year and casualties consisted of only one broken leg and one cut thumb. Sec. Diane Dweak, V. Pres. Leslie Burnes and Pres. Future Farmers expand to different frontiersg environmental problems stressed. This year, the Future Farmers of Ameri- ca, led by advisor Mr. joe Ghaffari, not only worked on farming specialties but went to a few Saturday speech ournaments on environmental prob- The members would speak on such problems as air and water pol- and many different types of These problems all have tre- s effects on farming, so these ourneys were set up to give the members better understanding of the problems may face later on.
