FRONT: C.Lyons, S.Thomas. The Thespians started off another busy year early in the summer with a children's show at the Dorrenbacher Hospital. Over the course of the year, the troupe did shows for six rest homes, a Halloween show complete with a walk-thru Haunted House, a Christmas show, and a june pup- pet show and children's theater. Other activities included a show of old horror movies, sponsoring the Turkey Hop and Class One-Acts, an Initiation Banquet at the jade West, an Awards Ban- quet at the River Queen, and a State Con- ference in Ashland during the Shake- spearean Festival. AFS Hosts Potluck Banquet While German Tunes Add Atmosphere. The AFS again sponsored a success- ful potluck dinner with each foreign lan- guage student and their families bring- ing a dish from the country of the lan- guage he is taking. Over 200 people at- tended the affair and were entertained by the music of Germany. The club put together baskets with flowers in them and took them to a re- tirement home near Centennial for their public service project.
