K Y Scheduling for the next year begins early as class sizes The student may obtain individual instruction in areas that and room assignments must be made far in advance, he may have particular trouble in. All students at Centennial can obtain special guidance from counselors who are available at all times during the school day. The counselors' main duty is to help any student with problems that may hamper his work at school. He also gives advice concerning subiects the student plans to take the following year. The counselor is truly a vital cog in the mechanism of a school. GUIDANCE AND LIBRARY The library, under the direction of Miss Hel- vie, affords a shelter from the busy hum-drum of the class room. lt appeals to the student be- cause it offers such a wide variety of up-to- date books, magazines and papers. Textbooks, back issues of many periodicals and peace and quiet are also available. The magazine and newspaper racks are a vital part of Cen- tennial's modern library. I
