Science is calling for youth and the science department at Centennial is preparing its young students tor tomorrow. With the facilities offered by the biologi- cal and physical sciences and the new chemistry lab, more and more students are becoming in- terested in science. Everything in these classes is modern and up- to-date. Only the latest tech- niques are being used. The many fine proiects produced by our sci- ence classes back up this trend. Using the burette is a touchy iob, so say many of the chem- istry students. Visual aids are a great help to the understanding of the stu- dent. The health class is going to see a film on some of the communicable diseases. The students in biology learn about the Chordates

Mr Grundfossen tells his students about Asiatic Sarmatia The subject included under the title social studies are treated with skill and interest by competent C.U.H.S. faculty members. These courses are designed to help pre- pare students to make responsible decisions when they are faced with the role of citizen after graduation. There are two years of required study-U. S. history and American problems. Several other choices are offered for those interested, includ- ing geography and world history. Mrs Roberts American Problems class views a film on racial discrimination.
