Dr. Speairs and some biology students check the map for the biology field trip. Everyone looks con- fused about the whole thing Students generally find that teachers are more than willing to discuss grades with them. It doesn ' t seem to help much, though. Having overcome such obstacles as the English proficiency test and the GRE exam, seniors don their robes with much joy . For some, graduation is a welcome relief from the ac- ademic life. 12

For some people, the shelter of the gardens isn ' t seclusion enough. Although this picture was made during the Student Senate cam- paign speeches last year (note avid interest on the faces of the listeners), it was the only daytime shot with more than two people in it that we could get. These girls have been cleaning up the gardens on Greek Day and are now looking for tadpoles or lost contact lenses.
