. . . well spent hours of leisure Most everybody likes to help sweep out the amphitheater on brisk Saturday mornings. Playing with one ' s pet is a favorite way to while away those idle hours in the dorm. This isn ' t really leisure, but it adds a little foreign culture to a yearbook badly in need of some type of culture. Grace and form are the earmarks of this year ' s dances. Brotherly love knows no bounds. Sometimes we wish it did. Many of the South ' s finest entertainers are first booked in the Centenary Sub. 13

. . the dedication of new Nameless Dean Hohmann ' s dedication speech. The dedication of the new boys ' dorm was an event which heralded an advance in the living standards of male residents of Centenary College. Initial airiness, flooded showers and lack of towel racks were far overshadowed by all the other advantages of a new home with a built-in fountain. Once the place of illicit birthday parties, the dorm now is the scene of Christmas suite parties (pictures censored), icy splashes in the fountain, and, in time of necessity, the burning of midnight oil over the books. . This view of the courtyard, obviously taken at the instant of the dorm ' s completion, shows the calm before the storm of boys, parents, and sundry officers of the law. 14
