AAickle has served Centenary College in the capacity of president Centenary has grown scholastically, physically, and spiritually. Dr. AAickle in his tenure has seen added to Centenary the modern Science Building, the Brown Memorial Chapel, The Rotary Hall addition, the T. L. James Dormitory for girls, the Crumley Memorial Terrace, and the Cafeteria as part of the Greater Centenary. In addition he has seen many fine educators join the Centenary community. Always faithfully attending each and every college function it is possible for him to attend, he has seen a spirit grow which his presence has nurtured. It is rare when a school can boast of a man like Dr. Joe J. Mickle at its helm. .
