T h Pre s 1 d e n t William T. Gossett, Vice-President and General Counsel of the Ford Motor Co., has said, In America today we are hearing a call to leadership. We stand on the vast stage of history before the eyes of the world. At a time like this we need to remember those things that have always mattered most to us. It is our hope that your years at Centenary College have added to your know how, to your technical knowledge and skills, which will make your material life more secure. But the greater challenges of the years ahead will not be met in this area, but in the realm of the mind and spirit. Those things that have always mattered most must not die out within us.
