BOOK CLUB . The first and third Monday evening of each month will find about forty of the Book Club members assembled at the home of Dr. and Mrs. DuBois for a meeting - and what a meeting! Each gathering centers about a resume of a novel, biography, or perhaps a current best-seller about which one of the girls has offered to tell us. The Letters of World War I, written and narrated by Dr. DuBois, were masterpieces and certainly hit home, didn't they? We won't forget those right away! We must mention the wonderful refreshments prepared for us by Mrs. DuBois-especially that never-to-be-forgotten fudge! And, speaking of food, the picnic supper held at the Palmers' was super and the round-robin of songs ended the affair beautifully. t The ofiicers for this year are: Prericlemf, Nancy Anderson, S ecremry, Ruth Kulpg Treasurer, Virginia Kulp. is l ll!! D'on't judge all her work by that! Many of the girls have taken some fine, prize-winning pics ' Our program chairmen were very cooperative. They were won- J derful and we got a lot of pointers on picture-taking and how to make snapshots interesting. R mber the night Dr. Stewart brought his camera up eme to the Bio lab and took our pictures? We took shots both ' h glamourous and gruesome, developed them right after t e meeting, and printed them the next day--more fun! jane MacLardy is Prericientf Lois MacLardy, Vice-president, and Grace Brewster, S efgezzmf-at-Army. 69 ' ' ' 353925-iQiZ:L-55A wk-I ae 19 if-'I
