Do you remember the baseball game we had in the Grove on the first Guild picnic? Confidentially, you were much better players than we had thought you would be. We were one surprised bunch of girls when the final score was decided. And do you remember all the little tricks we played on you in your classes? They weren't very originalg a lot of them must have seemed pretty silly to you. But when you laughed and played along with us, you were our friends for life. We'll never forget the lessons you have taught us. Centenary was a lot different from high school. We had many new people to meet, and new customs with which to become acquainted. We were so anxious to make friends. And you were always so friendly yourselves and so helpful that in a few weeks we felt as though we had been here all our lives. .
