The Browsing Corner The 1937-38 campaign of the FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY was launched one evening during National Book Wfeek. After-dinner coffee was served in the library, thus affording nn excellent opportunity for the girls to see the display of new hooks loaned hy n jolwlver, and to hrowse among them, and to eventually select the hooks they wanted to give the lilvrnry. In the spring, a newsy letter was sent to the alumni reminding them of the FRIENDS Oli TI-IE LIBRARY and many of them responded most generously with gifts of hooks and money.
