Another day of work and pleasure lies behind, Dying in a mist of winter rain. Ah, let it pass. I have my friends, my happiness To wile away the leisure hours 'Til spring shall come again. Then the world smiles. Dogwood spreads its snowy wings Among the warm, lush green of maples. The sun lies warm on golden walls and gleaming columns, Glances light across the windows.
