Clara Mannin really looked swell in that white wig, while Bill Esmon scared us all to death wlth his gorllla costume This year our candldates for the King and Queen r ce were Freeman Roberts and Je nnette Underwood Although we worked, we were defeated by a few dollars Ve engoyed the games, refreshments and exchanglng of glfts at the ChT1StmdS Party glven to us by our class Ma and Pa, mr and rs Don Salyer Another party we engoyed was the St Patrick's party also given us by our class ua and Next we presented our assembly program WhlCh we immensely engoyed produclng Freeman Roberts really dld a swell Job as an Indian The great Casey was portrayed by Jimmy nuff during thls program though everyone came home vith bruised and sklnned knees, we all had a good tlne At our April Fool's day basketball game the boys h d to fOTf61t their's, WhllC four glrls, havlng never played before, tried desperately to belt the Freshmen. The reason for the boy and girl shortage ask some of the members who dld not partlcipate, On may l 6 o'clock in the morning, 15 Seniors and Miss Ratliff and r. Roberts boarded a school bus and headed for Grand Lake on the Senior Trip although the drlve was long and in some places rocky, we enjoyed every mlnute of it We were all sleepy on our return trip, and slept any way pos sible and in some ways not possible ffter arrlving at the Lake, we all went for a swim while we were there ve ate, slept, and lounged around in the sun e spent many hours engoying row1ng, motorboat and speed boat r1d1ng Let's not forget to mentlon the fact that several came home wlth sun burns, Ne'll not mention how easy the ride ho e was vlth our sun burns as we come to the end of our Journey we cannot help having a few regrets xnd tears with happlness mlxed between. as we continue through the years we intend to carry out our motto 'Think more, Do more, Give more W o U T n e ' ' ' . g ' .' k 8 J t W ' ' L .
