FRESHM N HISTORY As the 50 Sl school year beg n there was many new faces ln High School, namely the forty five new freshmen The class elected Nr Roberts as sporsor and the followlng officers President, Gwer Dutton v1ce pre ldent, Barbara UqlTSCOtt, secretary, Ann Riffe, trea surer, Allan Moody Reporter, Janie Ruff, and, Class Ma and Pa, Mr and Mrs Frank Dutton For 1D1t1 tlon, the g1T1S were reqmlred to wear large overalls and skirts both backward e hlgh heeled sfoe Hntu anklet and an oxford wlth hose com pleted the f1d9OlS looklng costume The hovs had to wear Sk1TtS, blouses and shoes llke the glTlS Tk had to put make up OD one half of our faces and tic n1C6, JUlCy onlons around our necks We paraded downtown carrylng SlgDS pralslng the enlor wlll always look back on that day as one of the most engofable days of our hlgh sctool career Joan Langford and Aubrey Ewlrg represerted our class in the Carnival Klng and Queen race and were elected This wa the fourth consecutlve year tr t we came out on top to win thls r ce S1X of our flTlS were on the hwgr sclool b let ball team Ue were very proud of tYlS and of le folloa lng glrls Donna DOTT1S9 Ann Flffe, Gwcr Dutto , Joan Langford, Dora Trammell nd J F16 Puff One tlme durlnp the year, we won the attendance contest ant were awarded a half day holllcay On thls occaslon we xere prlvileged to go throu tie Chickasha Express Off1C6 and throng? the Proadcastwng station Our Anfual queer contestant was Janle Puff and manager for tl1S r ce was Gwen Dutton Our Class M nd Pa gave us many very enjoyable partles throughout the year Ultl thses 8Ct1Vit19S and many more, we say we h r d very nlce year and wlll be looking forward to next year .I 1 I , - s C .
