Among ofher acfiv- iiies were a Chrisfmas parry and fhe annual banquet ar which +ime officers for 'rhe- coming year were elected. Mr. Moyer upon several occasions was guesr speaker. Numerous meefings followed during which fime we became beffer acguainfed and more friendly. A delighfful Chrisfmas parfy was held and a fraveling supper was enjoyed. Plans for a house parfy fhis summer have also been made. A few monfhs ago our secrefary senf a leffer fo fhe local Board of Defense Council offering our aid in fhis nafional emergency. Alfhough he made no spe- cific sfafemenf as fo whaf we could do, Mayor Sfrofh fhanlced us mosf gracious- ly for offering, and will inform us as soon as we can be of assisfance. Our con- fribufion fo fhe Red Cross was also grafefully received. On fhe whole, fhis has been a very inferesfing and successful year for our organizafion.
