The Masqueradersn was chosen for The club. The firsr aclivily for lhe year was a dinner held by lhe J.H.S. Prelenders and Thespians for malcing plans for a Dramalic Fesrival lo be held April 25 in Jameslown. Miss Lopus and Rosalie Hedburg were chosen as represenlalives from our group. A radio division was organized as a branch of lhe Masqueraders. Voice lryouls were held over lhe new broadcasling syslem. One broadcasl was made lo lhe school. a shorr slcil' for Abraham Lincoln's birlhday. Parlicipanls were Daniel Fosler, Willard Tibbefls, and Lois lllingworlh wirh Marguerile Sames -as announcer. A new make-up deparlmenl was organized. The commillee made plans for a new malce-up sel which will be more complele. A one-acl play, Kiss lhe Slar was chosen for fhe lournamenl. Kiss lhe Shar proved fo be a sparkling college comedy. Characlers were chosen as follows: Ken Mason, Daniel Fosler: Mary, Marguerile Sames: Berl Niles, LeRoy A-polosh: Frosh. John Slormer: Hiram Hifcherpuss, Willard Tibbellsz Frances Fulsom. Rosalie Hedberg. This play was direcled by Pauline Lopus and various assisranls. Anolher one-acl play was chosen 'ro be presenled May 5. for fhe Molhers' Alum- nae. An all girl cas? presenled rhe rollicking comedy, Seeing's Believing . The direclor was Jeanne Anderson.
