A . i , - 'T-.Qi ia' Atv a---- ANOTHER STEP IN EDUCATION Few people realize how important an annual is to a school But to see the annual staff Write the history of the school by taking pictures of individuals student body and activities demonstrates exactly the impor tance of a democratic education I heard an Army official say that the war had dem onstrated how much education means to men in battle Many of our most spectacular triumphs have been Won through initiative and understanding acquired early in life in school But While education is an asset in War it is the guardian in peace The minds of the children of our enemies are saturated in hatred hes and the glory of dying not in the beauty of living as is portrayed through the pages of this annual ln this student body and in the other student bodies over this land rests the full responsibility for a growing generation's understanding of our Bill of Rights and the teachings of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and other great men.
