The mosT Talked-of acTiviTy of This group was The educaTionaI Tour Taken Through WashingTon, D. C., and The SouTh lasT summer. The boys had The honor oT describing Their Trip over WLW Tor The Ohio School of The Air program. H. B. 36 HOME ECONOMICS GIRLS Sewing, cooking, home furnishings are subiecTs which The sixTy-Tive girls in The Home Economics classes I, II. Ill, develop during school Time. AT home They make pracrical applicaTion oT Their knowledge, Tor each girl musT work a Toial OT nineTy hours, To com- pleTe Three proiecTs during The sum- mer. The home economics girls and agriculTure boys have had Two par- Ties. The TirsT parTy was a square dance given in The high school gym- nasium. Everyone had a grand Time learning To square dance while Mr. George and Ivliss Albaugh acTed as chaperones. On April 24, These groups had Home Economics and AgriculTure Nighf Tor The parenTs. AT ThaT Time each girl modeled The spring dress she had made in class, and The boys showed Their degree work. There are gym classes for fhose who do no'r volunleer for any of 'rhe sporfs. The girls' gym classes are under 'rhe direclion of Miss Robe: 'rhe boys' classes are under fhe super- vision of Coach Orr. Those in The gym classes play games and go Through gymnasfic exercises.
