The success of a team is not always record- ed in the score book, but in the hearts of each player on the team. The girls' basket- ball team of 1952-53 has no limit for suc- cessg already they have to their credit a rec- ord, on as well as off the court, which will certainly be a challenge in the years to come. Though the squad is rather small. it just goes to prove the old saying that. 'sBig things come in small packages. But-it takes many many exhaustable hours of practicing plus good attitudes, cooperation of coach and player, and a desire to give one's ALL and BEST to have a winning team. eww 'Er' l I: Sul , ,Y ' V9 J. e f First row. left to right: Mildred Barrett, Jean Ramsey, Gladys Grimes, Mary Barnhill, ,lo Ann Hopper.
