PICTURES OF GAMES ST JOHNS MILITARY The last game of the 1956 football season was wxth St John s Mllxtary Acad emy On the openmg klckoff the ball was recelved by Allen Bannenberg w1th a qulck hand off to Calv1n Traver who ran 85 yards for the touchdown The extra polnt was klcked by Frank Mueller In the second quarter the Academy marched for thelr flrst touchdown At the half the score was 7 to 7 In the second half St Johns came up wlth another touchdown glvxng them a vlctory of 14 to 7 over our Bulldogs MENOMONEE FALLS The Bulldogs w1nn1ng thelr th1rd game of the season on Frlday October 5 beatlng Menomonee Falls by a score of 19 to 0 The Bulldogs opened up when Fred Behrens scored the flrst TD After a long drlve from Menomonee Falls 40 yard l1ne The Bulldogs scored agaln ln the second quarter when Fred Behrens ran around rlght end from the 15 yard llne In the thlrd quarter the Bulldogs scored on a left end run by Pete La Flex ...QJ SALEM CENTRAL The Cedarburg Bulldogs suffered thelr flrst defeat of the season at the hands of Salem Central Cedarburg scored flrst 1n the second quarter when Pete La Flex plunged over from one yard out The ex tra polnt was mlssed and the score was to be Cedarburg s ball game The second half Salem came back to score two touchdowns The flrst touch down came on a blocked punt A second touchdown qulckly followed on a 20 yard run around Cedarburg s left end The fmal score Cedarburg 6 Salem 14 6-0.
