Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a group of students who get together for fun and fellowship. Guest speakers, special activities, Bible study and music are the main attractions. The purpose of our meetings is to strengthen our relation- ship with God through Christian Fellow- ship. Cows and Cookin . . . this is the general misconception about 4-H, but this year the Cedar Shoals Club has shown that it is a much broader organiza- tion from planning the Bicentenial July 4th Parade for Athens, to working Bi weekly with the kids at the Ga. Retard- ation Center, Planning a 10 County Christ- mas Party, and participating individually in over 30 projects ranging from Poultry Judging to Home Furnishings and Art. FCA-4-H 195

F.B.L.A. is the Future Business Leaders of America. F.B.L.A. ' s purpose is to develop today ' s students in the area of Business and Leadership, and to teach the necessary qualities to be successful in our future world of business. The members of F.B. L.A. have been engaged in various projects such as the Athens Fair of which our exhibit placed 5th, Homecoming parade, a Christmas coffee for the faculty and staff, and our annual Employer-Employee Apprciation Banquet. Julie Patterson, pres., Pam Long, v. pres., and Bernice Carter, sec, represented us at the State F.B.L.A. Leadership Conference held in Savannah. This year F.B.L.A. has another class connected with it other than V.O.T. and that is Data Processing. Data Processing, is a course designed to instruct students in the field of computers.
