Chorale y. ti ' i J 4 Q H ® Cedar Shoals High School has two large singing groups. Both of these are open to all students by audition. The Chorale is composed of app- roximately sixty voices. This group gives concerts throughout the year at local churches and Christmas and Spring Concerts at Cedar Shoals Auditorium. The Choraliers is a smaller group which performs many of their vocal selections with chore- ography and occasional costume changes. This group goes out into the community to sing for various civic groups, occasional trips out of town, and a spring tour out of state. Both groups have won much recognition and many awards. They have earned superior ratings for sight reading and performance in choral festivals, and have been used as a demonstration choir for choral clinics at the University of Georgia. In the Georgia High School Assoc- iation State Literary Meet, the boy ' s received first place in state competition, the girl ' s received first place, and soloist, David Pardue, received second place.
