The Interact club started out the yearly act- ivities by designing and building a float for Homecoming. Their usual design and theme, Can the Comets won them first place. On Halloween the club went to the Recreation Center in full and appropriate garments and gave a big party, Much to the delight of all members, the club was invited to tour the Westinghouse Building, which was interesting. In view of Mrs. Mauldins death, the club contributed some money to the American Can- cer Society in her name. Later in the year they will start money drives to add to her treasury. In April they will go to Hilton Head S. C. for their District Convention. They are also trying to improve correspondence between districts.
