The Thespian Society is a group of serious minded stu- dents who perform in large scale productions. This year ' s production was en- titled Adaptation . The cast included Donald Caster, Steve Cooper, Jeff Porter, Terri Tillman, and Vicki Jackson. They entered in the One-Act play and Oral Inter- pretation contest in Americus. Vicki Jackson and Steve Cooper won awards for the best supporting actor and actress for Adaptation . BETA The Cedar Shoals Beta Club is an as- semblage of students with high academic and character achievements. Its purpose is the promotion of honesty and leader- ship. The Boy ' s Beauty Review, sponsored by the Beta Club, is one of the highlights in the spring. The State Convention in February provides participation for mem- bers on the state level.
