GOVERNORS HONORS Barbara McElroy, Ann Tyler, Margaret Teare, Mark Frost, Hope Golembiewski, Diane Led- et, David Pardue, were nominated by tlieir teachers for Governors Honors. Each student has a high academic score which makes them worthy of this honor. H N R S NATIONAL MERIT SEMI- FINALIST Gary Pardue, John Matthews, James Ott, Lorraine Smith, Tracy Turman, and Caroline Ziemke, are the 1976 Nation- al Merit Semi-Finalist. They received this honor for having the highest PSA T scores taken during their Junior year. Each student will compete against other PSAT winners for the National Merit Scholarship. STAR STUDENT AND STAR TEACHER The Star Student is a program sponsored by the Chamber of Com- merce. This program is to recognize the Senior boy or girl that has the highest score on the Scholastic Aptitude Test and whose academic average is in the top 10% of their class.
