OUTSTANDING YEAR FOR DRAMA CLUB The Cedar Shoals Drama Club had an outstanding year, not only in the pro- duction of its plays but also in the awards received by the club and its members. The club has performed productions of THE PATIENT IN WARD B IS NOT IMPROVING, YOU CAN ' T TAKE IT WITH YOU and a night of one-act plays . The Drama Club ' s production of THE PATIENT IN WARD B IS NOT IMPROVING received a Superior Trophy at Georgia Southwestern College and also won a first place in Region 8-AAA one-act play com- petition and also won state-AAA competition Celta Head won a plaque as Runner-up for Best Actress for her performance in THE PATIENT IN WARD B IS NOT IMPROVING and Van Epperson won a plaque for the Best Actor in this same production. Van also won first place Trophies in Oral Interpretation at both the Lanierland Tournament in Gaines- ville and at the Americus Tournament. Mrs. Lubs prepares Van Epperson for his performance.
