Cedar Park is really on the move this year, extending the walls of their building into the community. T further their understanding of the State Government, Mr. Nelson's Sth grade social studies classes visited Salem to see the State Legislature. They were allowed to sit in on sessions of the House and Senate, listen to the Speaker of Governor, Robert Straub. and Matter science class the Trojan Nuclear Plant alternate energy sources safety of these plants. the House, and talk with Mr. Fisher's Time Space took their studies up to where they saw a film on and studied exhibits on the On the trip they looked at the landforms and discussed their relations to land use. Another stop was made on the way back to school at the Harborton Combustion Plant.

ce- ered toe The Cedar Park Ski Bus again made its annual run up to the slopes to Mt. Hood Meadows. Two full sessions of 76 students each took to the snow during January and February. With Miss Sabbe and Ms. Grimala as their trusty guides Qand some favorable and not-so-favorable weatherD the Cedar Park students suffered fewer casualities that last year. The buses chugged and slipped up the mountain once again, with a crew of happy, but frostbitten, Ski Bugs.
