September. 1923 6-Nineteen of the twenty-three Graduates appeared bright and early to welcome the opening day of school-the last registration day they would attend in dear old C. G. A. 14-Election of class officers. 17-Physical culture class welcomed their former teacher. Mrs. Strunlc. 22-Class rings were the subject of much discussion. Poor ring man was nearly lcilled in the rush when he appeared. October. 1923. 1-No blue Monday. Our gorgeous rings arrived. Everybody happy. 4-No more carrying chairs during the rush hour. 8:29 A. M. we now have beautiful new black ones-all our own. 5-Received an invitation from Mount St. Joseph to join in the founding of a co- operative school-paper to consist of three departments. the Mount St. Joseph College. the Mount St. Joseph Academy.. and the Mount St. Vincent Academy. We were very enthusiastic about this new venture and worked willingly to obtain advertisements and material for our first issue of the Mother Seton Journal . lt has been run smoothly since its inception. and we feel iustified in boasting that it is a credit to our literary aspirants. 24-The first number of the Mother Seton Journal of Mount St. Joseph and Mount St. Vincent was published. 25-Election of officers for the Catholic Students' Mission Crusade. 26-Musical Tea for the pupils in the Music Room. 31-'The Seniors thought it fitting to give a party for the high school students. so October 31st saw the Gymnasium gaily decorated in orange and blacl: with grotesque witches and jack-o-lanterns peeping from unexpected corners. saw the girls chatting. dancing. and having a general good time. heard the Nreiuvenatedu refectory resound with the gay toasts given by the various classes. and rejoiced in the resulting echoes.
