Stage Crew Key Club For the first time in G.A.A. history, involvement in interscholastic sports was not necessary for mem- bership. The new president of the Girls' Athletic Association, Ginny Roth, and Becky Blair, vice-presi- dent, planned meetings with other schools for games of volleyball and powder puff football. As a group project, a showcase displaying tro- phies won by C.C.'s female athletes was set up with the help of advisors Miss Straw and Mrs. Wayne. In addition to building and painting sets, the stage crew supplied light- ing and sound effects for numerous Cedar Cliff theatrical productions this year. Also providing their serv- ices during assemblies and stage events, the stage crew worked under the direction of Mr. Rogo- wicz. 1975-76 officers included Mike Smith, president, Kathy Kess- ler, vice-president, Lynn Croteau, secretary, and Frank Konhaus, treasurer. Sponsoring community projects was the objective of the Key Club this year. Advised by Rick Zeiders, members held a Pancake Jamboree at the Lemoyne Fire Hall, a Christmas party at the Methodist Home for the elderly, and a bike hike for crippled chil- dren. I Youth Festival Youth Forum Health Careers In order to prepare for the 1975-76 Youth Festival Dance held at the Penn Harris Motor Inn on Novem- ber 29, a committee was formed under the direction of chairman Deb Deckman and co-chairman Debbie Rutter. Thirty-seven girls met every Tuesday after school to discuss the many jobs to be com- pleted. Tickets were sold, posters were made, and ads were collected to support this year's cause, juven- ile Diabetes. Under the leadership of Kim Conti, Youth Forum representative for Cedar Cliff, interested students united to discuss issues relevant to the youth of today. Following the Bicentennial theme, So our children can tell their children . . . what we accomplished, the right to privacy and gun control laws were reviewed. The successful year was highlighted on january 14 when area students met at Middletown High School for Youth Forum Day. Directed by Mrs. Edith Morgan, Cedar Cliff's school nurse, the Health Careers Club is designed to acquaint students with the vari- ous medical professions offered after high school. The 1975-76 club officers included Lori Hunter, pres- identg Robin Peiffer, vice president, Kim Leaman, secretary, and Lisa Belford, treasurer. This year, along with sponsoring a sub sale and mak- ing sunshine boxes for hospitalized children, the club took several field trips to health institutions. 185 .45 V-':, ' Z x. ty if -AN Bridge Club.
